Does Sharm El Sheikh go to the top of the list for Luxury holidays?

What is so great about Sharm El Sheikh and why would you want to go on holiday here? So why is this place so exceptionally sought after, are there specific reasons why it does so well in regards to holiday bookings?

Sharm El Shiekh has two reasons why people are so interested to visit. The main and biggest reason is the diving capabilities. Many people regard Sharm as one of the best diving locations in the world, and this is for several reasons. The first is that there are an unbelievable amount of Coral reefs in the immediate area, just off the coast in the Red Sea, somewhere actually in the region of about 250! These coral reefs are some of the easiest for divers to access in the world. The fact that there are so many different fish here, means that people can see something new every time they visit, there are actually about 1000 species here. Being able to find a different species of fish each time you visit the same place is a unique quality.

All of these diving goodies have brought another form of tourism to the coasts of Sharm El Sheikh; this is called “scientific tourism”. This form of holidaying is for those that like to take notes on new species or collate information on something they have a passion for. This form of tourism also usually involves quite a lengthy stay which tour operators and airlines are more than happy to cater for.

The weather helps to bring in Tourists to this place. This warm ang dry climate is unique to Africa, and especially to Egypt. If you don’t like the rain, then this is the place for you, even the rain is warm, what rain there is anyway. Sharm is one of the holidays that is hottest in the world, with temperatures reaching up to 38 degrees throughout the year.

Sharm El Sheikh holidays are great, they are even more popular than Caribbean holidays and Maldives holidays combined! St Lucia holidays and Barbados holidays will have to step up their game!

Holidays in Cuba may prove to be quite unpopular!

Everyone had been lulled into a false sense of security that Cuba slowly became a freer and holiday like country. However it would appear that recently the Cuban police and government have made a massive mistake.

Monday proved to be a particularly bad day when the Government beat up a Blogger for speaking to the world about Cuba across the Internet, freedom of Speech is practically non existent here! A Blogger called Yoani, whom is a very influential Blogger in the Internet was beaten quite badly earlier this week. Cuban police quite often patrol the streets in plain clothes and after they had spotted her, attacked her and two other friends.

Cuba was always a more closed country, abut over the past decade they have accepted and welcomed more and more visitors or tourists. Now that Tourism is one of Cuba’s biggest money spinners, incidents like these can’t go unwatched, and especially with someone influential on the Internet.

Cuba is famous for keeping freedom of speech on a tight leash and preventing those that want to be outspoken by detaining them. Attacking an Internet Blogger that is quite established in the Internet world, is probably one of the worst possible ideas, surely speaking to her about the issue is better off, this won’t look good for Cuba at all. The most stupid thing about this, is that she can let the whole world know about what has happened, and the government can’t do anything about it.

Holidays have been damaged by the recession in the recent couple of years, but now they are back on the rise, Cuba needs to get these holidays or lose profits and income, so what do you say would you like to go on a Cuba holiday, or perhaps Maldives holidays, or different Caribbean holidays sound like a more sensible idea this year. Recently I journeyed on Sri Lanka holidays, and that’s not really a quite place, but I would prefer it to Cuba at the moment.

Egypt the latest to aattackthe Brits over Swine Flu!

Swine Flu is still as strong as it ever was. All of us thought that Swine Flu was starting to fade out, and cases had started to drop. Now Swine Flu has reached practically every corner of the planet, and is still taking lives. Swine Flu is has been the planets enemy for a while now, but what are the symptoms that we can “really” expect to experience?

It is very easy to determine whether or not you have Flu or Swine Flu, there are some big symptom differences. Swine Flu is described as a virus that you either definately know you have, or you haven’t got it. Flu travels through the Human body at a slower rate, and doesn’t get to its worse state for a couple of days. Swine Flu is one of those Viruses that takes action very quickly, and deals damage fast. The Symptoms that you get with Swine Flu are very much the same as those that you get from the Common Flu, such as Back aches and muscle ache, Nausea. Some symptoms are much much worse than normal, they are described by doctors and people who have had the virus, to be more than 10 times as bad as normal Flu.

Now the most recent news story to come out of Swine Flu is back at the holiday industry. Although the school half term time is supposed to be a time for families to go on holiday, it is proving to be particularly nasty for some that headed to Egypt, guards suspected they might have Swine Flu. They were taken to what has been described by many as a “hell hole”. After their body heats were monitored as above normal in the airport at Sharm El Sheikh, they were rushed to a hospital with other Brit families. This has proved that the Swine Flu virus on’t be going away quietly, and now with Premiership football players being diagnosed with the virus, it shows it’s still spreading.

Egypt holidays have taken a bit of a bash recently; Caribbean holidays and St Lucia holidays have been very promising through the Swine Flu time.
