Using Truck Advertising to Skyrocket Sales
There is a growing movement of advertising dollars going to another form of advertising for businesses large and small. I am not referring to doing some advertising on the internet. What I am talking about is doing outdoor media advertising and more specifically truck advertising.
Outdoor media advertising comes in many forms but one of the forms that is gaining much popularity is using truckside advertising.
Today a consumer has the choice in their hand of whether or not to see and hear the add. With Tivo and Satellite being owned by most consumers, they can easily have all traditional advertising turned off.
That is why a lot of businesses are looking for alternative forms of advertising. They are hungry for more avenues to reach the consumer.
But not only do they want more ways to reach consumers, they want it to be effective.
Mobile billboard advertising has that advantage. It allows an advertiser to get their message out in a way that can’t be turned off. With the way the medium reaches the consumer you can understand why.
You have the advertisers message or brand boldly displayed on a truckside or on a mobile billboards. Those are vehicles that have been designed for that job of being a mobile billboard.
With their ad prominently displayed, and appearing to them in traffic. A consumer has no choice but to read it. For an advertiser to create more brand recognition, this might be a way for them to do that.
Then when you compare it to other forms of advertising. The mobile billboards prices are actually very competitive, if not cheaper for what you get.
Because think about it, your message will be shown to a consumer who will notice and read it because of the way it is coming at them. More than likely during rush hour or when they are stuck in traffic. So the prospect is left with nothing but having to read it. With the advantage of how their message is delivered, it easily gets to the customer.
When you see and realize how much is being spent on outdoor media advertising, you see many businesses are realizing it’s potential. In 2004 by itself, $5.8 billion dollars was spent.
So for a business looking to expand in other ways to get their ad message out to the consumer, using truckside advertising is something they ought to consider.
Not the stationary billboards on the side of the road people are used to. But something put right in the consumer’s face is most definitely going to get the message across.
